Our Vision:

Alive in grace, for the glory of God

After prayerful reflection and thoughtful dialogue during a leadership meeting with the elders, we discerned our shared vision. As His people of grace, our identity and purpose are rooted in Ephesians 2:1–10.

Our Shared Past in Spiritual Deadness

(Ephesians 2:1-3).

All of us at CFC were dead in our sins, conformed to the ways of this world, and in step with the Devil. In spiritual deadness, our lives were controlled and directed in our seeking to gratify our sin nature; indulging in its desires and thoughts. All of us at CFC were children of wrath.

Our Shared Present in grace

(Ephesians 2:4-9)

In our spiritually dead state in sin, it was God (being so very rich in mercy), in His great love for us, who made us alive in Christ. This is the power and glory of God's grace in our lives as believers in Jesus Christ at CFC. We live on display for Him as His exhibits of grace in the coming ages. We're alive in His grace, in our new spiritual standing; being seated with Christ in the heavenly realms. We revel and bask in the liberating truth that He has saved us by His grace through faith...not from ourselves, and not by works...we all know our salvation is His gift to us.

Our Shared Mission in Grace

(Ephesians 2:10)

The power of God's grace in our lives is such that as we've been made alive in Christ, being saved from wrath, we are His workmanship... His handiwork... His masterpiece of grace; created in Christ Jesus, to do good works which God prepared in advance as our way of life (all that we do, and all that we are in Christ, is from His grace and for the glory of His grace).

While each of us as individual believers have unique and distinct lives for the glory of His grace, we share together with one another as the body of Christ at CFC in the following 5 Areas:

Worship: We are committed to gathering together weekly, in person, to worship the Lord. In worship, we sing to him, and we have freedom to lift our hands, clap our hands, and kneel before the Lord, as we express our adoration to Him. As a central part of our worship, we actively preach God's word, and the gospel for our growth, equipping and mutual edification.

Prayer: For us, prayer is not a sterile religious duty. We consider prayer to be the life breath of the believer in that it is to be led ad engaged in as the Spirit Himself directs. We seek especially to pray for healing and guidance for one another in interpersonal prayer (often at the close of our worship time) as this kind of prayer can be used by the Holy Spirit to touch, heal and lead the person receiving prayer.

Spiritual Gifts: We all have at least one spiritual gift (some of use have several) given to us by the Holy Spirit Himself, which we're to use in love, to build one another up in the body of Christ at CFC. We are committed to the use of all spiritual gifts in our worship gatherings, in the prescribed order (1 Corinthians 14).

God's Word: The Bible is the rudder of CFC. As His people of grace, we are wholly given to studying, reading, preaching, teaching, and memorizing God's word. It is with and through God's word that everyone at CFC is held accountable with on e another. We hold that God's word is the central means through which we disciple one another.

Outreach: We will use any and all methods and means (i.e BBQ outreaches, concerts, Media, texts, and most importantly relationships) with integrity, in reaching lost souls with the message of Christ, and then discipling them at CFC (Matthew 28:16-20). We also consider it our purpose and privilege in reaching prodigals (Individuals who've left the church, and perhaps even have left the faith).
